Air Force Museum
Vision Systems undertook a complete upgrade of the Air Force Museum of New Zealand security system.
This involved the installation of a Concept 4000 Integrated Intruder Alarm and Access Control System. Also installed was Dedicated Micros DV-IP based CCTV system. The CCTV system has been integrated into the Concept 4000 by way of Insight DVR Integration software which allows camera images to be displayed on the access control Insight Management software for particular events such as alarms and when users access doors (allows the operator to determine visually whether the correct person has accessed the door).
Insight Communicator software has been installed at this site which allows alarms to be transmitted to on-site staff via pagers and cell phones reducing the opening hours dependence on a monitoring centre.
The Air Force Museum of New Zealand also utilises the Iomniscient Video Analytics software for people counting through the complex. This has raised the people counting accuracy to around 99%.
